I don't think he 'ripped off' anyone. He was inspired by them, and he said that himself, but saying he 'ripped them off' is like saying The Rolling Stones 'ripped off' all those 50's blues and rock & roll artists. It's inspiration. Without it, nothing would ever progress.

Grohl was inspired by the same things Nirvana were. He's just not quite as good as them. ermm

I liked Dave Grohl as Satan though when he appeared in the Tenacious D movie, or in 'Tribute'. Best songs he's ever done.
