When I first saw him in the makeup, I thought he was better than Jack. I found Jack to be funny but I never really thought he played a true Joker.

same, I think Jack mostly looks the part, but I don't think he got it right.

I think he was going more for comic effect then psychotic with comic effect.

I find this "new" Joker to be like a more real time realistic Joker. Which is what the new Batman movies are all about. And if they have go ahead with another sequel I'm going to be surprised if they're able to top The Dark Knight.

yeah, don't get me wrong, Jack is pretty good at playing a nutjob("one flew over" and "as good as it gets"😉

But Heath took the part very seriously and dedicated himself to that role,

he owns the joker

from now on in the comics the joker will most likely be tweaked to be like Ledger.
