Real Metallica fans appreciate the fact that 20 years on they are still making music, they could have rested on their achievements and retired on their millions a long time ago. For Metallica it's all about the music.

I love the ReLoad album, it's the album that got me into Heavy Metal and music is such a part of my life and part of the way I'm wired. But because I love that album I can't be a real fan of the band?

For someone so clever that comment was extremely foolish. Maybe people have only hard albums after the black album, can they not be fans because of it?
