I go to an extension of a main campus, so pretty much a community college but not exactly, and it seems that many of the teachers run things half-assed.

Plus my advisor is a moron and the reason why I have to drop this math class is because he scheduled me in a math class that I wasn't even ready for.

I know what you mean with the half-assedness thing, but being put in a course you're not ready for? That's really sloppy for a college, you should complain to the local board of govenors or something.

I've tried to complain but nothing comes from it.

Just kind of annoying, what with the whole No Child Left Behind Act and the supposed "emphasis" on education in the US, that we have to deal with ineptitude in a college environment.
