I remember it now!Spoiler:
That battle on the rooftops is really epic, if I remember, in the rain and everything. And yeah, I forgot it's implied Deckard is a replicant, that was pretty confusing when I saw it. But the voiceover is only in the original, not the Directors Cut, which ends the way you said, with them walking into the lift, and also implying that the guy who makes little paper models has given them a chance to escape
Spoiler:
I think the guy who makes the paper models let them escape but I also think the paper models signify that Deckard is a replicant. As well as the Unicorn dream he has. Since it's stated that replicants dreams are implanted.

did too...i thought it was a real good back to basics Alien movie...no space marines or big 'uns..just running and fire to kill em, and Fincher set up a real tight atmosphere in that one...

I think a lot of people forget that Fincher directed it too. Because Fincher went on to direct greats like Se7en, Zodiac and Fight Club.

That's my point, the plot sucked ermm It's like, the end of Aliens: "We just survived a holocaust of maniacal freaks" and then Alien3: "lol dead"It just isn't fair!
Though Resurrection did have Brad Dourif in it.
Originally posted by RölandThe plot itself was pretty good, and it was a tense and well made movie, but still... Newt was about 8 years old, and she survives this whole thing, sees her family killed before her eyes... she deserved a break 😐
I thought the plot was pretty ok, I mean it was better than Resurrection's plot.Though Resurrection did have Brad Dourif in it.

i also love Aliens...but the one thing that disturbed me, was that the humas were kind of equal to the Aliens with their high fire power, so he (Cameron) initially had to bring in an even bigger monster (aka the Alien Queen) into the mix, just set the score straight again...and Ripley's battle with her in that forklift-exo-skeleton thingy was epic!
