Not their best, but still more consistent than any British indie album released this year.

talking about the new girls aloud album? 😐
"still more consistent than any British indie album released this year"Is it? Well, if that's the case, can I ask why Glasvegas got 9/10 in this very magazine? If it's more consistant then any British indie album released in 2008, why have you given loads of 8/10s to British Indie albums released this year? Just a thought...
Guns 'N' Roses
Chinese Democracy
So approximately 54 years, $123m and 72 guitarists later, it’s finally here, and it’s... kind of everything we could have hoped for. Loads of hair-metal twiddling and a high-pitched Axl going “WRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHH!” at the beginning just like he did on ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. Could the braided one actually be about to pull it off?

The Virgins
One Week Of Danger
Yeah, it’s new wave by numbers. But check out them numbers. ‘One Week Of Danger’ is the Fibonacci ratio of the genre – if you think you’ve heard it before, you probably have, because it’s embedded in the DNA of everything that ever made your nostrils flare unconsciously, a primal pulse of pouty ‘My Sharona’ guitars, impeccably arch vocals, deliciously silly woo-hoos and enough Kool-Aid coursing through veins to kill a horse.

Load of bollocks, what a surprise NME would slate Razorlight. Or The Kaiser Chiefs. Or Snow Patrol. Or any other band that has sold more than 25 records. At least it's not as pathetic as the shambles over 'Razorlight' when NME gave the album 8 out ot 10 then nominated it in the NME Awards for Worst Album..................
