The Von Bondies are a garage rock band from Detroit, Michigan.

Around the turn of the century, Jason Stollsteimer attended a concert by Japanese rock & roll giants Guitar Wolf. At the time, Stollsteimer was working a job as a bowling alley bartender. The performance spurred him to create his own band, the Baby Killers. After recruiting Lauren Wilcox on bass, Marcie Bolen on rhythm guitar and Don Blum on drums the band changed their name to the Von Bondies.
