Reunion
On 11 June 2008 Rod Stewart announced that the surviving Faces were discussing a possible reunion, envisioning making a recording and/or performing at least one or two concerts.[11]. On 17 November 2008 Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones reunited for a rehearsal "just to check if they can remember the songs".[12] The band's official reunion website was launched earlier the same month.[13]
On 3 December 2008 it was announced that Faces would reunite and tour in 2009 replacing the late Ronnie Lane with Flea, bass player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers[14].
