This Frank Carter sounds like a right idiot for trying to encourage fans to distroy a small pub, why wasn't the police involved? Also if he's jumping into crowds all the time, he has to expect that his private area will be touched.

I'm quite sure the ginger **** would kill to be groped if he wasn't in a successful band.

@barrinho -- I'm guessing it had nothing to do with him wanting a write up in NME for being such a badass. See Towers of London. They sucked too.

What a douche. Seriously. There's no evidence for him being groped, yet plenty of evidence of him assaulting a member of the public and destroying private property. Is this what we've all come to? This ain't rock n roll, this is pestilence.

Jesus I can just imagine the type of prowls who go to their gigs! Lets smash some poor persons business up just cause some posh t**t thinks it's rock 'n' roll or summut! Very good way to show your gratitude for them hosting the gig! What a massive C this bloke is! Like the other bloke said, if he wants to go crowd surfing then surely its to be expected. As if any man (gay or straight) or woman would touch him purposefully!!!!!

barinho this is what gallows shows are about they arent some pussy footing indie band standing still waving their fringes about they are a hardcore band and at hardcore shows anything goes within reason, the pub knew the risks when they booked them im sure, as they have played there before, and no he doesnt have to expect his nob to get groped because yeah you do get grapped sometimes but frank wouldn't have kicked off without reason. they are from the hardcore scene and if the NME press cant take the heat they should get out the kitchen. Also bit stupid how you have to highlight "Carter" all the time.

He blatantly didn't like being groped because it was a dude doing the groping.

Stupid ****. Most singers who crowd surf are groped and grabbed whether they like it or not. You just get on with it and forget about it. Oh and how very rock and roll for trying to destroy a venue that put them on the map.

There was a similar incident by Dead Kids last week @ Wycombe Uni where the band were kicked of stage after a person in the audience claimed the singer broker her leg! Crazy!

Should he expect to be groped? Possibly he should. Gallows are the sort of band that want a close relationship with there fans in which the boundaries between "star" and "fan" is blurred. These fans provide a hardcore loyal following guarentteed to splash out on all Gallows products. If Frank wants that hardcore following and wants to market his band as a band of the kids then he should realise that it is not him but the kids who are the dominant party in the relationship. Frank needs to realise that he is a commodity, a product like a barbie doll which kids between the ages of 15-22 buy into to give themselves a sence of identity. They manipulate him to there own ends, and as they reach maturity they will discard him when they no longer feel the need to invest there identity into a rock star. Frank must submit himself to the whims of his fans if he expects them to follow him in a way that is more meaningfull than the average music fan follows Kings of Leon for example. Also, if Frank wants to create a lawless, no holds barred atmosphere at his gigs then perhaps he needs to realise that again it is not him but the paying fans who call the shots. Why should he decide the boundaries when he openly invites such an unrestricted situation?

What a tw@t! Seriously, there is nothing "Rock n Roll" about what he did. Funny how his antics get more reviews than their music at a gig. Proves what we already know, their music is complete and utter tripe. If only they had decent enough songs to let their music do the talking!!!!!!!!! Lets all hope they get dropped by their record label for being idiots before their next album comes out!!!

Why do venues keep allowing them to play if all he wants to do destroy them? What right does he have? I hope he gets taken to court.

Yet another band that NME feel they have to support because of the unjustified 'hype' they attributed to them early on- touting them as the next 'Nirvana' hahaha. I cant work out who I despise more- Gallows or Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong? Hmm probably Joe Lean, but only just. Gallows are about as hardcore as a bunch of home counties mummies boys screaming into a Guitar Hero mike in their bedrooms- with all their tattoos their mummies paid for.Unfortunately from what Ive read their label is contractually bound to release the new album, I feel sorry for the guy who gave them all that advance money (obviously thinking they were the 'next nirvana'😉, I bet its safe to say hes out of a job now.... Dont worry, I doubt this band will be written about here in a year from now- same goes for Joe Lean... Maybe they could form a supergroup? with Lethal Bizzle providing guest rap vocals of course.

I was at Tuesday's gig and I have spoken to around 10 other people who were also there - all have tried to put comments onto this site defending Frank's actions.........and all have been unsuccessful. I think this magazine is doing it's best to generate their own warped view of what happened that night. That's what the press do.......and you are ALL falling for it!!!Of course the venue's LOVE the carnage - that's why they allow Gallows to return - you must be an idiot if you think they're anything but happy about the excitement generated by a Gallows gig.And Frank wasn't groped in the crowd - it was while he was standing on stage. NO-ONE deserves that, famous or not, and saying he should put up with it is like saying a girl deserves to be raped for wearing a short skirt.I will know how one-sided and censored this article is if this comment isn't printed, and I definitely won't be buying NME again.
