I don't listen to Christian music uhuh

If by that you mean bands like The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and Glasvegas, I'll have to agree with you. However, they're not indie.

Not really.

If you refuse to listen to a group without knowing their music, based solely on the fact that you don't like the general theme of their lyrics, you're not really a music fan, imo.

16 Horsepower.

I love juicy mushrooms!

Guns N Roses have a song with racist lyrics in but I still like the song itself awehawe

Plus I hate the whole thing NWA put across, but their music is listenable, The Killers song "All These Things I've Done" is Christian, but I still love it, and don't agree with everything Chuck D says (especially the Farrakhon stuff) but he's still my favourite rapper. awehuhs

The Kooks are clearly a pop band. Arctic Monkeys are rock, maybe alternative, Vampire Weekend are pop and Glasvegas are a rock band. However, genre isn't what we're discussing here. To me indie means independent artist, however everyone has been misusing the term for a pretty long time, so I've kinda come to terms with that, so I just started calling obscure artists 'indie'. All of those bands are quite popular though, or have at least been a 'hot' band for a while. Therefore they're not obscure and can't really be considered indie-artists.

Kooks totally think they're the next Kinks

Yeah, but you heard those lyrics after you started liking those bands. You've made it seem that you have no intention of listening to 16 Horsepower because they're a Christian band.
