Originally posted by SelphieI was just using the companies as examples, there are hundreds, thousands, of other examples, ones we don't even know about. If I could personally help someone about to be killed right in front of me, knowing that I myself wouldn't get hurt, then yeah, I probably would, because, well, I just would. I don't need a concrete reason for it really. It's just in my nature.
No shit that nature takes lives, thats life, once again, but if you can prevent someone killing another for a ridiculous reason, why not? Governments and companies and shit like that killing people? doesn't make it alright that they do. Just because they get away with it now, doesn't mean they always willYes, no matter where you go, people will die at different ages, but I believe in experience.
I fight for things that do not necessarily apply to me, because I believe that when someone needs your help, and you can agree to their cause, why not? When I need help, I want someone to help me. Of course, there isn't always support, but you can be surprised at how many people want to help you. I don't want to remain silent, and when the time that I need help, no one will speak up for me, because I didn't speak up and help anyone else.
Even if I die helping someone, and not getting any help back, I'll still be happy, because I helped someone. That's how I feel, and think.
I wouldn't die helping someone, no way. I don't see why my life has to be ruined to let one continue, I have as much right to live as they do, and to me, I have more right to live than anyone else, because I know I'm me and that I in some way exist. If I died then it'd be over, and yeah - so what? I'd just cease to exist, again, no big deal. But still, in this case it's me, not them, and I personally would prefer to keep living.
And I also highly doubt in an afterlife. We all probably made that shit up ourselves. There's as much chance of god existing as there is Gandalf being real, they're both characters from written works that various people enjoy reading.
Then in the second dream, I was in downtown Detroit at night going to this haunted hotel. All of a sudden we start getting chased by this guy with a gun. I, being the slower one, couldn't catch up right away, and the guy with a gun had stopped the two I was with (One of them happened to be Morgan Freeman). Finally, I caught up to them, but the snow was so dense I couldn't see who the guy was or if he had a gun. So I go "Does he have a gun?". He replies, "Yeah". Then all of a sudden I tackle him into the frozen river behind him, and I black out. Then I "awake" to find everyone huddled around me trying to warm me up in a hospital bed. then I woke up from that dream.

Humans have as much a right to live as any other animal, so get over yourselves you hypocritical meat eaters. In your view, other animals shouldn't have to die for your pleasure. See!? See the huge ****ing flaw in your 'things shouldn't die for anothers beliefs' ideals!? CAN YOU SEE!?!?!
plants are just a backup

No, I think that humans shouldn't die for another's ideals/beliefs. Animals are just delicious.
