OK, so, yesterday there was this trip to the city, and a bunch of band kids were going to go see the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. I wanted to go, so I brought some money, had a permission slip, etc. So I was the first person on the bus, I talked quite a bit to the bus driver, learned some history, etc, and then eventually more people got onto the bus, and eventually some girl and Tanner got on the bus. I was thinkin, "Wait wuuuut, does he have a girlfriend then?" And he told me to come to the back of the bus with them, so I did, but those two sat together, and I was kind of bummed by that, but luckily my friends John and Sean kept me company. So I really didn't get to talk to Tanner at all on the bus ride to the city.
Once we got to the concert hall, I started talking to Tanner again, and the girl who he sat with thought I was funny, and was laughing at all the jokes I was cracking, so that made me feel better, but this OTHER girl, named Bonita, was being a total ***** to me, and I guess she didn't want Tanner to sit next to me. So, I didn't get to sit next to Tanner during the concert, but the concert was good anyways.
So I was a little down once we started to leave the building, 'cause I really wanted to spend some time with Tanner. So I'm about to get on the bus, and I hear Tanner say, "LIIIIIZ", and it turns out he's right behind me, so once we get on the bus, I see that the one girl, and Bonita are sitting next to each other, so I was thinkin', "sweeeeet", so Tanner sat next to me awesome
And THE WHOLE time going back to town, which was about an hour drive, Tanner and I were talking and laughing, we had soooo much fun. We would try and keep straight faces at each other, and stare each other down, but we'd keep laughing like 2 seconds later, it was so fun. And he was laughing at all my jokes, made me feel so good stoned. And at one point, I said, "Oh my god, my throat hurts so much from laughing", and he was like, "Me too!"
And you know how when you're sitting on a bus, you're really close to the person next to you? God, our faces were really close, it was really tempting to just kiss him, but I didn't, 'cause I'm not even sure if he likes me like that. But ANYWAYS, I totally on accident dropped my program from the concert, and it fell between us on the floor, and I went to grab it, and he went to grab it too, so both of our heads were both there, and it was pretty awkward, so I sat back up, and he grabbed it for me. Was sweet. Then he asked me how I was getting home, and I was like, "Sheeeit, I'm walkin', man". Then he told me he could drive me home, and I didn't believe him at first, because I thought he came with that one girl, but turns out they just arrived at the same time. So even though I live really close to the school, I got in his volvo, and he drove me home awesome
And before I got out of the car, I told him, "We need to hang out more, definitely since it's our senior year! Tonight was so much fun!" And he totally agreed, and then once I got out of the car, he honked at me, and I waved bye.
stonedDidn't turn out the way I planned, but I think what happened last night was totally awesome, and I'm so glad I went.
