at my part of the street the water has mostly drained away but further down the road, as in down a slope, the water had pooled up to five feet in height. And the burn that winds round our street has overflowed A LOT!

the water that flooded my garden and street has mostly gone, except for further down the road. but a lot of gardens are ruined (and a tumble dryer)

I live at the bottom of a steep road and all the rain water collected at the junction yesterday ...all the big lorrys going through was quite funny .

it was the rainwater and a burst pipe that caused the flood up here, plus the burn right next to our houses
