Here's a little more explanation for all you outside of CA. KROQ has 2 huge events each year, the weinie roast and acoustic christmas. Tix to christmas show are next to impossible to get and they release the info shortly before the actual date and they only allow people in CA to purchase tix, even have to be within a certain distance of the event by zip code. Weinie roast shouldn't be as difficult, it's an all day event and each band only plays about 20-30 minutes, except the headliners, they play maybe an hour. But the shows are definitely shown live on the web, so don't worry about missing it. If you go to KROQ.com, they have shows on there from the past that you can see highlights of.
