Fair enough I suppose. I mean, I always cry when someone buys a Samsung, but some people seem to like them.Have you looked into the HTC One M8 and the Moto X, though? They are much better Android phones imo.
The only thing that worries me is that Samsung uses their own flavor of Android for an OS but I hear that it still uses normal android under the covers.
I need the resistance because I take my phone out on runs and to work out. Also I'm specifically choosing android over iphone because I want to do some more android development.

Samsung just uses a skin, it's normal android, at least for now.Have you had issues when going for a work out previously? Because I don't think iPhones or really any Android phones had issues with that ever.
