Long answer: I'm still in job limbo, though with an increasing sense that I can likely land several jobs, and the trick is going to be landing the best one. I've already turned down one offer, a good job, but paid like sh*t. The most recent interview - likely to turn into a job offer - is a good gig, but would be seasonal...I'd only be on the books through April (it's as a Marketing Coordinator for a district of tax prep offices). Solid work, relevant to my field, etc. but not a long-term solution. But if it pays well enough, I'll probably take it. It may be some time before I have a satisfactory answer to the whole situation, though, and my financial situation is likely several years from being anything close to comfortable. I'm not broke, and likely never will be again, and don't have debt. But that's not the same as saying you're comfortable.
Had some health scares recently, but all is seemingly well. I've lost a fair amount of weight recently...I was never fat, but got bigger than I wanted to be. So that's good too. I keep saying I'll start working out regularly, but it hasn't happened yet.
I've never been better romantically and socially, though, so that's good.
You?

For me my work and social life is going great. I have a good core group of friends I hang out with. My job is going well and I'm starting to break down my college debt to more long term manageable levels.
I've been doing pretty well getting into shape and working out regularly.
Romantically I've been in a rut. In my field there aren't a lot of females employed and the ones that are aren't my type or already taken.
I've tried online dating but have had mixed results. I prefer to get a nice foundation with a gal before I ask them out but I haven't had time to meet any new ones and hangout a lot.

Take up dancing. Works wonders for dating, so long as you aren't a creep about it. I love the concept of online dating, but yeah, it can be rough.
I'm not far from looking at jobs in your neighborhood. Chances are I won't end up there, but I wouldn't mind it.
Originally posted by DigiLike I said time and money have been big factors with that. I would love to take the time to go dancing on a regular basis but just not too feasible right now.

Ah, no worries then. Hopefully your time and finances free themselves up eventually.
And yeah, I should. We'll see. 😉
