I have a case of Dragon Sickness, minus the greed.
I just like the effect, not obsessed with the cause (riches). The effect is hypnotic, insanity, but if you can ride it you become a mystic with mystical powers. "Gold beyond sorrow." Beyond sorrow, beyond sorrow. To me, gold is breath, the feeling of being alive. In any circumstance, one can experience indefinitely the euphoria portion of Dragon Sickness without the negatives it incurs when fear of losing treasure or something precious sets in. Without the paranoia we are in nirvana.
There are 4 basic emotions; joy, anger, fear, and sadness.
Emotional arousal amplifies the speed of logical thinking, but at the cost of clarity unless it's one singular, stable emotion: joy. This extreme euphoria, when maintained through your EQ skills, will take you far in life. If there is a God I've found it responds positively only to joy. Anger, fear and sadness is why God won't let you have nice things.
