If we are talking about appendix removal, mine was taken out accidentally.
I was suffering from chronic pain in my stomach, and so they removed the appendix only to realize it was actually an infection in my small intestine. They had to remove some of it.
I had a bunch of school off and got all kinds of toys. It was wonderful!

Makes it easier for my infusion nurses to start my treatments. It's a catheter stuck permanently into a central vein and they use the port to access the catheter.
