What? American Dad is way funnier on average to Family Guy. For a start, it relies less on obscure American '80s shows that nobody except McFarlane remembers. Any time I watch Family Guy with a group of people, they laugh at bits I know they don't understand, but because Family Guy is cool and 'hilarious' they still pretend to know what the **** is going on

Really, each show has/d its own brand of humor. I found AD funnier on average than FG, personally. CS was somewhere in the middle.
