Last week was my nefews baptism this week mother day next week my other nefews thing.... I just find myself spending to much time with my family and forced to go to dinners, parks, bbqs..beach..its just annoying because I'm trying to build my life. I want to find a partner and evolve into a man. I live alone but I'm with my family on weekends in the day... I have friends who never see their parents and friends who see them once in awhile.

just find wat works for you, tell them that you need to build up your personal life and need time to do it

Just tell them that you can't make it this time, maybe next time. There's a medium that you need to find. Spend time with them, but every weekend is excessive and pretty much ignoring them is selfish.

I live just down the road from most of my family (small town) and I sometimes go weeks without seeing them.
