Yeah, he's the worst kind of cop-out, the kind of guy who could do interesting and funny stuff, but he knows how to make big money so he just does the same dumb shit time and time again.

I rate Happy Gilmore even beyond nostalgia, though. I think it's one of those films where everything came together perfectly for what it was. Like Michael Bay: I hate the guy generally, but Bad Boys is ****ing excellent.
