No idea what to do right now. My wife, on medical leave since her job doesn't have light duty, was just let go from her job of nearly 10 years because the Family Medical Leave Act only goes for 12 fcking weeks. We have zero income at the moment, with bills to pay.
Might also look into workers disability, though not sure how that works if she's already not employed, can't hurt to make a call though as this pays nearly the full salary.
Sorry to hear that though, stress sucks.

We're thinking about unemployment, but she's on medical leave because of her pregnancy and you have to apply for work while on unemployment. Not sure how it would all work.

Do you qualify for unemployment? I know you have to have so many hours in a quarterBut yea you can go on welfare and food stamps
I don't qualify myself.
We already get some benefits because even when we were both working we weren't making enough. Our daughter gets an SSI check each month that will help keep us afloat, but we won't be able to do anything except pay bills and get some food. We still need to get more supplies for the baby.
