This is my statement in regards to ********. 3 kids are involved: ***** (15), *** (13, almost 14), ***** (11). Father of the children is *****, mother is *****.
**** is not related to these kids in any way. She's ********'s live-in girlfriend. She claims the kids as her own, but treats them like trash.
She curses at the kids all the time, with every word in the book.
She has brought them to tears many times. I feel she has been severely emotionally abusing them.
In April, on vacation, she threatened to smack the 2 boys multiple times while treating ***** like an angel. I witnessed her hitting one of the boys sort of hard on the arm at one point. I can't remember which one it was.
During the same vacation we grabbed some food at a fast food restaurant. *** asked if he could have one more hot dog since he was still hungry, **** berated him for eating too much and to let his sister (*****) have more. **** had eaten less than everyone else, when I pointed this out to her she told him he still couldn't have anymore.
She yells at all 3 kids all the time for incredibly small things like talking loudly or disagreeing.
She doesn't allow them to call their biological mother.
She doesn't allow them to go to family member's homes because "they are little shits when over there".
****** was braiding ***'s hair to show him what it would look like when shorter. Wendie told *** that he was even gayer than before and that he looked like "a little jigaboo ******."
*** was jokingly wearing his hat backwards, she told him he looked "ghetto" and would get his "ass jumped in Vegas."
She told ***** her one friend is/dresses like a **** and didn't want her to come over and hang out after ***** had already been given permission from her father.
***, apparently, isn't allowed over at our house anymore because we tell him to ask his dad instead of asking **** for things.
All 3 children have confided in me that they don't want to live with their father if **** is still a part of his life. *** and ***** live with their father year round, going to visit their mother only a couple times a year. ***** lives with her mother and only visits her father a couple times a year.
She has been known to fly off the handle on Facebook about the mother, *****, for being a part of her kids life. I can no longer see her Facebook to get examples since she blocked me for no reason just earlier today.
I am not writing this out of spite, but out of love for these 3 children (my young cousins) whom I have been there for their entire lives. I have helped take care of them for many years as a cousin and (previously) live-in babysitter.
I do not harbor any ill feelings toward my uncle *****, he was even my best man at my wedding, however he allows this to go on.
