My whole life is basically hanging on for quitting time awehuhs

I really need to develop a proper work attitude 'cause mine sucks

i like my work, honestly if i wasnt studying i would be working 5 days a week

I should like my work, I'm interning at a small independent film production company. I do like having a job, I spent nearly a year unemployed on the ****ing dole and honestly that was shit enough to make me realise having no job at all is rubbish

But ideally I'd rather just sit around at home and get paid for it, that'd be awesome. If I achieve my life goal of being a writer, that prospect could possibly become a reality

I envy artists. I love music and writing but there's something so immediate and visceral about painted works of art – you can just appreciate them for what they are, all at once, rather than appreciating writing and music, which both take time to complete. With painted (or drawn or whatever) art, it's just there right in front of you, all at once.

i agree with you, i honestly couldn't find anything i would be disappointed in with that logic

At least the day is going quickly

Same

I'm doing that right now...

"Yuccies. Young Urban Creatives. In a nutshell, a slice of Generation Y, borne of suburban comfort, indoctrinated with the transcendent power of education, and infected by the conviction that not only do we deserve to pursue our dreams; we should profit from them."

Yeah, but that's 'cause you're retired. See, I want to do that now, and forever! I want to effectively enter retirement at 23.

You could learn an instrument, paint, read books, watch films outside of your comfort zone, become an amateur opera singer, go to a different nearby town each day, start doing extreme sports

Don't let TV dictate how you spend your well-earned rest!

you should get a job advising bored retired people what to do
