I'm starting to believe that instrumental music or music with lyrics in a foreign language are the best ways to really connect to music on a deep level, you can connect to a song because of its lyrics on a base and/or deep level, but I think that if you take away that obvious connection, you start to really appreciate the music in a totally new way.

I'm probably wrong, but it's a theory that I'm sticking out there anyway.

By my own standards, I did shit this year at uni. One of my friends, whom I'd done a lot better than in essay up this point, had 2 essays that did better than my highest grade. I hate myself.

I mean I thought "I may not be cool or funny or good looking or interesting or some kind of genius, but at least I have general intelligence and good writing skills as my outstanding feature" but no, do I ****.
