Checking out Apple Music, it's pretty cool. I think it's perfectly possible I might switch from Spotify.

How does it work?

It has a couple different aspects. For one it sets on top of normal iTunes, so you have your own library. What I'm interested in is the streaming service, basically you can search for anything in the streaming library and listen to it (and download it for offline usage), basically you can treat it like anything in your library. They also try to help you discover music by matching it up with genres and artists you like. Additionally they launched a real round the clock radio station, with 3 DJs and some other shows, I'm probably not gonna listen much to that, I have other ways to discover music, and prefer talk radio, but it seems alright.

The streaming part has a 3 months free trial costs 9.99 per month for an individual and 14.99 for a family up to 6 people. And they will be coming out with an Android app in fall. Though I am pretty much in the Apple ecosystem.

Why the sad smilies

Hmm, yeah I might use it, not bad so far. Not bad.

Then I'll also have another Apple app on my homescreen, I currently only have Safari and only because Google is so goddamn creepy.
