How common is it to get a 'wrong number' in Skype?

2 times now someone contacts me as if they were searching for someone else and got my Skype by accident.. not a problem I guess.. but then the whole "Nice to meet you, can we chat anyways?" type of thing.. does this really happen?

I really don't use Skype often enough to know. 😬

i never used skype to phone anyone or been called by number on skype so idk
