Took personal time off. I was born and raised here on the island and I can't wait to leave!
I was born in Florida but moved away when I was 6 years old. Bounced around through South Carolina and Georgia before settling down in North Carolina when I was 8. So since I was 8 years old, I was raised here in Wilmington on the coast. I used to hate this place. There were so many negative memories I had associated with this place so I ran away at the first chance that presented itself to me. I moved to Las Vegas and then 3 months later to Utah. The desert climate wasn't harsh but it was paradise as far I was concerned because I didn't have the crazy drama around me anymore. That was 8 years ago. A year ago I started to reflecting on my past and seeing things in a different light, from different perspectives and realized now as an adult that life really is a matter of how we approach it and how receptive we our to the negative and positives vibrations. Since being back in North Carolina.. I have gained so much clarity into why things sucked so much. I don't hate North Carolina as much as I thought I did. I have enjoyed every minute of being home. When I leave to go back to Nevada, I am going to be someone sad.
