I noticed this post before, and yeah I get this. Didn't know what you meant by 'genderqueer' originally, but when I looked into it I got it. I wouldn't label myself as that, but I understand the hesitance to submit to a specific gender role.
Originally posted by KharhmahIt totally makes sense, to me, anyway. Dem feels are notoriously hard to pin down these days. awehuhs Because traditional gender roles are crumbling, yet we aren't doing enough to approach that from a linguistic stance, so there are all these words and terms that I can't tell if I want to subscribe to and I'm left like wait, who the **** am I again? haermm

Just thought I'd use genderqueer as a start point, y'know? Just cause it kinda covers a number of things, a blanket term almost, and I dont quite understand all my feelings yet so I dont want to nail myself down.
It's kinda annoying when you're trying to explain your feels about a thing, when you yourself dont really understand your feels in the first place. idk. That probably doesn't make sense. haermm

At the moment I'm trying out a little exercise whereby you look at yourself in the mirror and go through a series of "I am a girl/I am a boy/I am a man" etc. and assess how each word makes you feel. Apparently that will give you better insight as to how you may want to proceed.
