did denmark park the bus whenever they won the euros

Your point in reference to what I said?
exactly

It's just annoying when you want to watch a game of football and it's Costa Rico against Argentina or whatever, you're basically not going to watch a game of football. At least teams like Wales or Iceland play actual football despite their underdog status. That's why I don't care about NL losing to Iceland, because on the day Iceland were better and didn't use cowardly park the bus-tactics.

I was too young to remember but they did have great players on that team so I doubt it.

Games like NL-Costa Rica or NL-Mexico and even NL-Argentina were just boring shitshows because the teams we were playing didn't want to actually play.

Seems like there's one constant in those games....

Also, that was before the park the bus-strategy became so popular. The movement didn't come into full swing until Greece's EURO 2004 win, for as far as I remember.

They were playing a team they were afraid of.

Inb4 some misguided attempt at trolling.

Nah, they had the Laudrups and Larsen and that. How do you imagine a goalkeeper winning an entire tournament for a team? awehuhs

he scored goals too, he could have gone up for some corners, schmeichel was a beast i wouldn't put it past him.

wonder what a team with schmeichel and rogerio ceni up front would be like

tottenham won btw
i knew you wanted to know

I think Chilavert was the goalie who scored most goals.

oh yeah his name name rings a bell

Either way, Chilavert and Ceni mostly scored from direct free kicks and penalties so they would still be worthless as strikers, except for that one moment per game where you got a free kick within good range or a penalty.

leicester vs villa isn't gonna be much better

Yeah. Footy

you know it
