They're not exactly satirising but not to be taken completely serious either. They're quite clever actually. They've introduced the whole making up new words and slang aspect of hiphop to the Dutch mainstream public. Back when they had their first hit ten years ago they were invited to talk shows and you had all these babyboomer academics interviewing them and they just didn't know how to handle them.
