The reason beer bloats you is because you drink it too slowly. You need to drink it before it loses it's head of foam, or it'll fall flat, which will result in bloating.

Maybe. Having said that, when I DO drink it, usually right after my baseball games, I have 3 or so, usually in a 20-25 min span, and it still makes me feel as if I'm about to birth a small calf.

I'll drink maybe 2 or 3 beers (in CZ it's standard to serve half-litres, mind you) but after that I have to switch to either a mix drink or hard liquor.

Gimme cheap beer until I fall asleep

But see, I drink alone. Pretty much exclusively. So yeah, two bottles of wine, that'll do me, generally.

Back in my junkie days I'd drink Aldi's Schultenbräu.

Well, perhaps it has to do with the infrequency which I drink beer? I don't know. We finish ball and it's hot and I'm thirsty. There are generally 24-28 bottles or cans that one person on the team has brought. So, if you want to have more than one, you kind of have to drink them quickly.

Generally speaking, we have Coors, Canadian, or Corona. Guys on my team are cheap.

I've never had Coors or Canadian. With Corona I've never had that problem, it might just be the lightest beer I've ever had. A can of Coke will make me feel more bloated than that.

One time though, I drank like 4 half-litres of Pilsner Urquell over an extended period of time, letting them fall very flat. I felt bloated and when I was walking back home I saw my reflection in a store window, my stomach looked like I was with child, it was very weird.
