Granted. But still. See, maybe I'm thrown off a bit because we do things differently here. Even though we are metric, houses are listed as being say, 3000 Sq Ft. as opposed to metres. And I've never heard of selling a house/apartment based on a certain amount per sq m. It isn't broken down like that here. I built a house for $214,000 9 years ago - and that's typical - just base amount, not by sq ft or meter.

That's different. Never seen that before. I suppose I could break it down, but it's not listed by real estate agents here. If you look at the listings in my area, the price is a base amount.

Yeah, listings are usually the full amount here as well. But like if you want to know how expensive property is in an area the price per square meter is a good metric.

Ah, ok, gotcha. So, if I spent $214,000 when I built my home, and it was 2700 SQ ft, I was paying approximately...what...$79-80 a sq ft.
