When am I pretentious? I don't mean to be, I try generally to be humble about myself, because I don't think I'm better than anyone else or have particularly exceptional taste or anything. I'm sorry if I have come across like that, it wasn't intended. I can't think of any examples of me doing that, though. Might be slight projection on your part? You're far more artsy-fartsy than me, movie-wise. That's not a bad thing, I've had plenty of friends like that.

Except for that one time with Jman, but that's because I had feels about the topic.

Also, it's not really the fact that you like certain artists or films, it's more the stylings of your posts when you write about them. But like I said, the reason why I find them cringeworthy to read is most likely because they remind me of myself at a certain point in my life. Either way, shine on you crazy diamond and that.
