God I wish I was into myself, then I'd have the confidence to just plow through this essay, assuming that no matter what I wrote, it'd be awesome. As it is, I'm just staring at a 200-word introduction and wanting to scream and shit.

Actually, acting like you're really into yourself is often a tell tale sign of underlying confidence issues.

Oh yeah, definitely. Usually people use self-assuredness as a way of hiding their crippling self-hate and lack of self-confidence. I just wear mine on my sleeve, easier that way

I wouldn't say usually. Just when their self-assuredness enters the realms of the absurd, I'd say.

I guess, but it's hard to tell. And it's hard to tell where it starts and ends, even to them, I reckon. I have a mate at uni who tries to dominate every situation he's in and can never accept that he's wrong, which is probably mainly because he's insecure, but instead of admitting that to himself and embracing it (so to speak), he just convinces himself that he's the king shit. It's different for different people though, obviously. A lot of people seem to think I'm a bit full of myself, which is a shame, because most of the time, I'm doing it in an ironic, self-mocking way (e.g. "I'd know that because my film knowledge is so much better than yours" is clearly a ridiculous embellishment, but people seem to actually take it seriously rather than a joke...)

Get Welshy to write it.. he normally rambles on like he's writing an essay

Where is that little hunk anyways?

I don't think Welshy particularly wants to analyse the concept of Third Cinema using the four-hour-and-twenty-long documentary film La hora de los hornos as a case study tbh

Neither do I though, I just have to

Well, to be fair, I chose this, so I guess I'm reaping what I sowed.

Dead.

Pretty selfish of her. Hope you told her that she's dead to you now.. awehuhs

I could never do such a thing, if it weren't for the whole incompatible sexuality thing then I'd probably just have to break down and admit I love her haermm but as it is... then no, I totes don't love her. Naw, we're just like, best buddies, yo.

Nailed it, nobody suspects a thing

I hope I don't end up just being mates with Stu

We'd be good mates but hopefully it'll be more 😍
