I hear the Scottish too, I didn't realise Welsh accents came in that variety. My mate Sean recognised it as Welsh, though.

Yeah I have family in Wales but nobody I've ever come across has not just sounded Welsh to me.

I haven't spoken to a Welsh person in real life in at least 15 years, I don't think. But you hear it sometimes, most notably on the Valleys or documentaries about chavdom or crack/heroin-addiction.
