So many thoughts in my head

6 month anniversary of my mates death today

I don't know if it's because of how amazing a guy he was or because it's the first suicide I've ever dealt with personally.. Probably both.. but his death has affected me greatly. More than expected.

I don't usually remember dates of people's deaths, but there are always a few that will stay in my mind forever.

My uncle (dads brother) shot himself when I was younger, but I never really knew him. He lived on his yacht with his wife and didn't like kids apparently. I think I met him twice.

My dad said he always invited him to come stay on his boat but always said 'no kids' awehuhs

My dad was a widower with 3 kids.. 'no kids' was not really an option for him.
