when i was in the army my hands got so bad and scabbed and dry and bloody, they must have been close to getting infected they looked gross. i don't even know what it was that made them get so bad really, obviously i'd wash my hands imo i always thought i was pretty obsessive with washing my hands but my hands were one of the worst. one guy that was going into medic corps had a look at them and cleaned them up a bit and also bit a bandage over this burn i had on my arm because i burnt myself with the iron by accident.
i was a complete wreck
nah it weren't all bad like you know
anyways i was just thinking like you know i'd be up all night when on field exercise hardly staying awake, dying to get back in my sleeping bag.
what i did was, not sure if i actually fell asleep but i would rest my helmet on the sight, it gave my neck a bit of a rest and i could look like i was keeping an eye out while really just taking a few moments for myself
