To be fair, there's a lot of insufferable travel types. Like the ''backpacking through Australia/South-East Asia'' types. Or the ''South Americans are ALL so WARM!''-crowd. Those used to be the worst before the weeaboos came to full force. You also used to have the ''Africans are all so noble and pure'' people but they've been disappearing, fortunately.

Oh, I'd love to go to Japan and I'm interested in the culture and that. There's nothing wrong about having a preference for a certain continent or country.
It's an entirely different thing when you read an article praising Uruguay as a destination and you go to the comments to read other user's experience and you see some scumbag with a Naruto-avatar (who has probably never even been to Japan) ruining all chances of discussion by replying to every comment with some diatribe about how Uruguay has a long way to go before it's as awesome as Japan and no other country is really worth visiting. At times you'll even see them doing this to actual Japanese people.
