I'd say it is if you're really interested in ancient Rome. It gets a bit dry at times, almost as if you're reading non-fiction. But it's great if you're familiar with the history and you enjoy those kind of things. Especially since it's quite historically accurate and most historical fiction is borderline fantasy nowadays.

Hmmmmm I dont mind historical novels but the dryness would bother me. I may gove them a go when I finally work through the bazillion other books I keep meaning to read. Im half way through go set a watchman but hid it away because scout was sad 🙁
