That's the worst. I did this awesome essay, by my standards one of my best-ever, and got 72% on it. That's still an A, but a low A, so I was still kind of gutted, and now worried that if my next one isn't as awesome as that one (which it won't be), I'll end up with a stupid old B.

A recent post from its xyz: no way will I make another thread like this. It started as a joke, but became a place where KMC had free speech because the mods ignored it. Then it potentially ended the forum once the mods got trigger happy, and most forums in the OTF became basic spam.

I'll just leave it as it is, but once it's over, I have no interest in keeping it open, I'll be honest, I think the mods will agree.

Yeah, well kind of, our university system is weird. 40% is a third, 50% is a 2:2, 60% is a 2:1, 70% is a first, 80% is an outstanding first, 90% is an exceptional first (basically publishing standard writing)

i wish we did like A- and B+ because a B+ feels better than a B

and an A- certainly feels a dickload better than a BA

ours goes something like A, BA, B, CB etc etc and the percentage ranges make no ****ing sense
