He's almost a Queen up. And yet a moment or two prior, his Queen was merely a pawn, and, because bishops are ranked ever so slightly higher, the point advantage was actually mine; I'd largely outplayed an opponent ranked higher than myself.
And ultimately I still did. Despite his advantage in points, power, and ranking, White is in checkmate position.
