Part 1 of 3 of a game I might commentate on in the future.
Broad strokes: Idea was to go for an Englund-Soller gambit, i.e. get my opponent, who opened with d4, to take the black pawn I put in his face, then put another black pawn in his face after he captured that one.
But he didn't bite, he just ignored it and kept moving on.
After that, idea was to pin as many pieces as possible, block off avenues of diagonal attack, castle, keep HIM from castling, open a file for my rook to pin him or his pieces while applying pressure, and finally, of course, capture his king.
