Riv's likely busy with his food truck.

Summertime's generally the best time to earn money with that sort of thing, unless Riv lives in a college town, in which case football season probably is.

Riv didn’t get his truck up and running. It was a failure. And after getting banned him sure it’s sent him into an abyss of misery

Oh, I see. You guys were trying to tease him.

Well, Riv's usually been cool with me, and I rather like him, so I'm not going to join in that. Especially not with the amount of censorship going on at other places right now. KMC is not necessarily like that, but the overall national trend is rather alarming.

If you're right, though, I'm sorry about his food truck.
As you seem to realize yourself, owning your own business can be quite rewarding.

Actually, if Riv's reading this, I'd encourage him to do some searching online for government grants, or even visit his local library. I'd have even counseled visiting Matthew Lesko's YouTube channel here, if I could be certain Lesko's was currently updating or podcasting, etcetera:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PNAHI64wiag

A small business or even would-be small business owner who is black, Native American (can't remember, I THINK I once saw Riv call himself part Cherokee at one point) AND and armed services veteran? If I even knew what state Riv lived in, I could probably find Riv a grant in excess of $10,000 in 30 minutes flat.

Call around, Riv. Depending on where you live, a food truck can be a business that will provide for you and your family well past retirement, and even potentially give a young person, or perhaps even young people (or, actually, any age of person now that I think about it), a start/re-start in life.
If the problem was the heat, research for enough grant money to get your truck refurbished. I'd even consider calling up the local ice cream truck vendors/workers/owners/whoever and find out how they keep their vehicles cool enough to comfortably work in.

Truth to tell, Broly, I'm even wondering now if anyone has tried a truck that serves smoothies and/or can simply rotate its food service selection to complement the season: ice cream or smoothies in the summer, hot dogs, hamburgers, whatever during the cooler months. Dry ice or what have you would help with cooling the vehicle's employee compartments in the heat, the flame used to cook the food would keep employees warm when it's cold.

At any rate, I hope Riv gives it some thought and research. From what I'VE seen him share, which I might be missing something he shared that was really important, it sounds like he has a treasure that just needs people to put some work, time, thought, and perhaps a little government grant money investment to re-start and sustain itself.

Above post might help put things in perspective.

Selection below, self explanatory.

Inasmuch as Jessie Graff impresses, her mother, Virginia MacColl,
is inspiring in her own right, and overdue some attention:

Hypertext for a specific post needs to be re gleaned from the URL post on that page, though.

10,000 grant is hardly the full amount. Maybe rewarded to first time applicant but one would have to have a killer proposal, budget, and strong work history to be able to be considered. Plus most grants have rules from which one has to follow.

But Riv is lying, he is not Cherokee; he has called himself black, white, jewish etc. He has also stated he is married with kids, then stated he is gay.

Regarding Riv's personal demographics, it's possible to be various combinations of what you say he's mentioned. I've seen such before. I doubt he's doing anything but joking or being taken out of context as far as being gay goes, but the various racial and religious combinations are only a very little out of the norm where I'm from.

As far as grants go, one, they're not the only source of money for business start-up, two, yes they require work, but a person running a food business has to be hard working by nature to expect his business to make it, or learn to become so very quickly, and, three, if Riv is military, as he's posted in the past, he's probably used to dealing with rules.

At any rate, food truck, without knowing the particulars of Riv's area, still sounds like a good general idea. There are workable solutions to nearly every problem encounterable; proof is that people faced with most of the same problems as Riv make it work. How do they do it? Don't just guess, ASK them!
Most people fail because they won't do practical research in service of themselves. That needn't be the case.

P.S.

Zany though he sounds, Matthew Lesko has proven to have serious chops when it comes to helping people find opportunities they never knew existed.
He's worth putting in a little time to study:

Gah. Several of Riv's threads have been combined into one.

Was hoping to find out what DID occur with that food truck.

Halfway through ...

He’s a troll simply put.

Well, I suppose you COULD be right, but if Riv is just trolling regarding the truck and kids, he's doing/done a reasonably convincing job of it.

I have a lot better relationship w. them now that theyre in their mid teens to mid twenties. 😛

Back, presumably, to the food truck:

Next weekend, we’re hitting up the park, there’s a bunch of soccer games scheduled, so ppl everywhere.
Gotta plan ahead!

At any rate, I'm satisfied that, if the truck IS real, Riv on reading my messages will now be able to consider some things the average person normally wouldn't.

I dont care enough about riv to care enough about his business. I will however say that most of what he has said in his posts is still there for anyone to read.

Speaking of reading ...

Did you notice that 3 posters besides myself (Walshy, BrolyBlack and yourself) have begun contributing just in the last 2 pages?

All after the thread getting pinned ...

Circa 2018, June. 15 min mark has Graff discussing how her career as stunt woman got started. Features Graff in fullest form I can identify to date.

Riv a lonely guy who got what he deserved. He was de modded on another site because he pulls the same childish things.

What a loser😂

I tuned most of his posts out so it didn't really bother me.
