Royal Flush
A, K, Q, J, 10, all the same suit. The Royal Flush is the highest of all poker hands.

Straight Flush
A Straight Flush is any connecting straight cards, like 10-9-8-7-6, all of the same suit. A Straight Flush beats Four-of-a-Kind.

Four-of-a-Kind
Four cards of the same ranking but not in the same suit. For example, 5-5-5-5-K. Four-of-a-Kind beats a Full House.

Full House
A pair and three of a kind in the same hand. For example, 10-10-10-8-8 is a “Tens full of Eights” Full House. A Full House beats a flush.

Flush
Consists of five cards all of the same suit but not in numerical order. For example A-K-5-4-2 flush in spades has the same poker ranking as an A-K-5-4-2 in clubs. A Flush beats a straight.

Straight
A Straight is any five connected cards in a row. For example, 10-9-8-7-6. The highest possible Straight is A-K-Q-J-10 (also called “Broadway”). A Straight beats three of a kind.

Three-of-a-Kind
Three cards of the same rank and two non-paired cards. For Example, Q-Q-Q-7-6. Three of a kind beats two pair.

Two Pair
Two Cards of the same rank and two cards of another rank. For example, 8-8-7-7-3. Two Pair beats a pair.

One Pair
One Pair is just a single pair, nothing more. For example, Q-Q-6-9-2.

A Pair beats High Card.

High Card
High card is the lowest possible poker hand in Texas Hold’em, Made of any 5 cards. For example, A-Q-6-5-10.
