Watched a podcast of a famous celebrity give her insight on a topic that's not acting.

I'm just curious why organizations seem to think that famous people have some sort of influence on a given topic. It's like all you have to do is be famous and that automatically qualifies you to have a voice. No! I do not want to hear platitudes from a second rate actress on something she knows little about.

Same way people seem to think celebrities views on politics is the correct version, unless they're conservative and then they get shit on.
