If one were to construct a impregnable bunker to weather a full scale nuclear war, would it be able to survive the planet cracking into pieces?

Depends on the point of origin, how far away from the blast and how many meters the blast levels.

My guess would be at least 100 feet, seems like a lot but you have to figure in the entire bunker and then support posts, cushioning material, radioactive shielding, and extra supply materials for repairs etc. I personally wouldn't be able to make a Blast From the Past style bunker compound, but maybe a nice little man cave out under the barn maybe.

Hypothetically even if you were to create the ideal bunker, the radiation on the surface would last for decades and be toxic for any living thing. You have a better chance being up in the sky and finding a safe place to land
