The word dragon entered the English language in the early 13th century from Old French dragon, which in turn comes from Latin: draconem (nominative draco) meaning "huge serpent, dragon", from Ancient Greek δράκων, drákōn (genitive δράκοντος, drákontos) "serpent, giant seafish".
Dragonheart is a 1996 fantasy action-adventure film directed by Rob Cohen and written by Charles Edward Pogue based on a story created by him and Patrick Read Johnson. It stars Dennis Quaid, David Thewlis, Pete Postlethwaite, Dina Meyer, and Sean Connery as the voice of Draco.
The fact that the effects for Draco still actually hold up after all these years, especially the incredible detail they used with his facial expressions, body movements and mannerisms, and even how his eyes follow the real people around him perfectly. Combine that with Connery's excellent voice acting and you've got one of the most unforgettable dragons on film.
