I'm so over superhero movies

I'm back to kungfu movies and suspense. I saw this really good show from Argentina (English dub) on Netflix called, Paradiso. About some kids who go and investigate the disappearance of three girls.

Then I watched a Turkish time travel show, also English dubbed on Netflix called, Midnight at the Pera Palace. About a women who is a journalist and stays at a hotel, and one night she wakes up 100 years in the past.

But my favorite show this far is this cool Egyptian show also on Netflix, called Paranormal. It is about a Dr slash professor who is trying to ignore the fact that there are other worldly phenomenons happening around him. Each episode has it's own story and it leads to a huge conclusion. This show is like watching an episode of scooby doo and X-files combined together with Tales from the crypt. It is so good I can't wait for season 2# to be released on Halloween.

I'm over the mediocre ones, but I can watch good capeshit all day every day.

I don't like foreign movies or TV, I don't get the cultural references or the essential language nuances so I'd just as soon never even look at them.
Man's got to know his limitations.

I look at Kung Fu movies the same way I look at pro wrestling, staged and kinda lame.

Netflix can turn any language settings to English. Just press English and it's in English, if that is an option. But these movies were.

Other cultures have better movies and shows. Dont assume. American cinema has so many limitations when it comes to the length of the movie, the content being shown, the story being told. There is so many rules as to what an audience can see or not see.

I'm locked into American and British TV & Movies, that's it.

That's a shame. You are missing out.

If you're into that, there's this gay Argentinian film called Taekwondo.

I used to do Taekwondo and wondered if there was a film on it. I came across that, but didn't watch it because it looked gay.

That sounds a lot like homophobia, which if I recall correctly is heavily frowned upon in UK.

I haven't watched it. Unless you're talking about me.

I'm just not interested in gay.

OK I see how you worded it, IF you didn't watch it strictly BECAUSE it was gay then it would be homophobia

BUT you said you're not interested in it because it HAPPENED to be gay and that's personal preference
