Speaking of antiques, I'm having my comic collection appraised, in about 3 months I should know how much it's officially worth.

Goodluck. I know a few friends who have comic collections and no one wants them. They are like stamp collections.

I was going to give them to my nephew and I wanted to be sure what they're worth so i can give his sister something of equal value.

Better to get rid of stuff that's just sitting around collecting dust when someone else can put it to good use.
